As the Volts wait for the available recording dates, and the new look for the website (coming soon), They will be writing new material, something they needly need.

The Volts will be playing a gig at a private party on the 25th of Febuary. During this gig The Volts will unleash some new material, as well as working the kinks out of previous songs. The set for the gig will include five Volts originals as well as covers by AC/DC,The Angels,Grinspoon & Green Day.

Expect video and audio clips from the gig to be online within the following weeks.

The Volts have secured a local recording studio as their new base camp, and are beginning their recording of their demo CD.
"we have roughly about 10 songs" says P-man "but the seven songs we're recording are the ones that we have been told 'rock the hardest'".
"On the whole, we want this demo to show the listeners who we are and what we sound like". Says lead guitarist Johnno.
The Volts are also welcoming back Peebs (Jake) for the recording and their upcoming gig in Feburary. "I'm looking forward to the first big step this band has taken in 3 years" Jokes Peebs the fill in drummer.
The recording will hopefully begin in the next few weeks depending on the dedication of the boys and the free time from work and school.

2005..A new calendar year and a new year for The Volts.

2005 will be focused around commitment and creativity for The Volts. The band hopes to cement a song portfolio, which will result in the recording of a demo. P-Man,Burkey and Jake will all be completing their HSC this year which will make band commitments difficult, but not impossible.
